Workshop Description:

This workshop will provide an overview of the core components of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). You will also learn who is most appropriate for DBT, what participants can hope to gain from this type of mental health treatment, and how to identify competent providers.

Meet Lona Stranieri, LCSW:

Lona Stranieri, a DBT-Linehan Board Certified ClinicianTM, is the founder and director of Princeton Center for DBT and Counseling. She has extensive training and clinical experience in providing DBT therapy as well as other cognitive, behavioral, and mindfulness-based-psychotherapies.

A graduate of Rutgers University School of Social Work, Lona has been counseling individuals, couples, and families since 2006 and has extensive experience as a group facilitator. She also supervises candidates for clinical social work certification under the auspices of the NJ State Board of Social Work Examiners.

DBT Program for College Students Advertisement Flyer

Dear Colleagues:

I am excited to announce that we will be offering our DBT Summer Program for College Students again this year.

This weekly group is for first-time, as well as returning, college students to help prepare them for the many challenges of entering or re-entering college life.  DBT skills will not only help the participants manage college related transitions, but will be part of a student’s emotion regulation toolbox throughout the many challenges they will face in their young adult life and beyond.

I have a flyer for it (pictured above) and and more information about our other current group offerings in the next segment . Please feel free to email or call with questions. Thank you!
